About Mike Turner

Mike Turner is the founder of TurnerTrends, an online subscription-based advisory service, which provides his clients with the tools for planning their investment strategies, and is also the founder of Sabinal Capital Investments, LLC, a registered investment advisory, located in Austin, Texas, where he manages large portfolios for higher net worth individuals. He writes for several financial organizations and publishes his own newsletter, “Mike Turner’s Market Report”.

He is a much sought-after speaker at investment trading venues around the country, including the World Money Show, Trader’s Expo, and American Association of Individual Investors (AAII) meetings. His advice on stock selection, stock selling, exchange-traded funds (ETF’s), and his 10 Essential Rules for Beating the Market, are his most popular topics.

Mr. Turner graduated from Oklahoma State University, with a degree in civil engineering. It is his analytical background, extensive computer skills, and common sense approach to the stock market that allowed him to develop the powerful software system that analyzes over 6,000 stocks every week. This program sifts through the data to help him find and select good stocks to buy, and also tells him when it is time to sell. This information has allowed his clients the opportunity to realize their financial dreams in Bull Markets and Bear Markets.

Prior to his involvement in the stock market, Mr. Turner was the founder, developer, and President of a company that wrote enterprise-level software systems used by medical research facilities, and pharmaceuticals companies, world-wide. His clients included nearly all of the major drug companies and medical research facilities that are involved in pre-clinical drug trial studies. He was there until he sold his company in 1997.
